Vetter is currently Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the preeminent journal, Anesthesia & Analgesia. He has published extensively in outcomes research and topics such as comparative effectiveness.

Dr. Elizabeth Cherot is currently the Vice President of Medical Affairs at Axia Women’s Health. Dr. Cherot is an established and highly skilled physician with 20 years’ experience in obstetrics and gynecology. She is committed to improving OB/GYN care, reducing morbidity and mortality while implementing enhancing recovery models and providing an efficient business model for today’s OB/GYN practice.

Steven Schulman is an authority and a national speaker on value based protocols including Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) and the Perioperative Surgical Home (PSH). Under his leadership, his team has demonstrated the ability of these initiatives to significantly lower length of stay, readmissions, post-operative ventilation as well as blood and skilled nursing facility utilization.

Dr. Hegazi joined Abbott Nutrition as the Global Medical Director of Adult Nutrition in February 2009. He is now the Medical Director and Director of External Scientific and Medical Engagement for Abbott Nutrition. He also co-developed the Transcultural Diabetes Nutrition Algorithm and Diabetes Total Nutrition Therapy educational programs.

Kain is a thought leader in Orthopedic Value based care and an international expert on Perioperative Surgical Home and enhanced recovery. He is also a national leader in perioperative digital health. He previously served as Chair of Anesthesiology and Associate Dean of Clinical Operations Officer in UC Irvine Health.

Dr. Koenig previously led the Division of Adult Reconstruction at Dartmouth and was one of the architects of GreenCare, a sweeping quality improvement initiative to create a self-improving microsystem around total joint replacement.

Dr. Scott is an international expert in Enhanced Recovery after Surgery (ERAS) principles and is co-author of the ERAS Society Consensus Guidelines and is a member of the ERAS Society Executive Committee. He has published extensively on haemodynamic monitoring, fluid therapy and the stress response for surgery within an ERAS Protocol. He was a member of the WHO Education Committee and Member and author of the World Health Organisation LIFEBOX Project.

John Morton is the System Lead for Surgical Quality and Bariatric Services in the Yale New Haven Health System and Vice-Chair for Quality, Division Chief for Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Yale School of Medicine. He previously served as Chief of Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery, Clinic Chief for the Bariatric and Metabolic Inter-Disciplinary Clinic and Director of Bariatric and Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine.

Gadsden is a world leader in the areas of ultrasound-guided nerve blockade, the monitoring of regional anesthesia, trauma, and education. He holds fellowships with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (anesthesia) and the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, widely published and a well-known speaker in these areas.

Shah is a leading authority in the outpatient hip and joint replacement space. He is currently a partner with Midwest Anesthesia and is extensively trained in regional anesthesia. He is the founder of Subsidium Workshops where he teaches multiple hands on workshops for surgeons and anesthesiologists.

Dr. Holtz previously served as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Emory and then at Yale, she is now the Chief of Regional and Orthopedic Anesthesia at WellStar Kennestone Regional Medical Center. Dr. Holtz speaks across the country on opioid minimization and enhanced recovery after surgery, and also teaches at regional anesthesia workshops both nationally and internationally.
