Step I: Make the Case for ER-PSH & Create the Vision
Following the conceptual framework of Kotter, step I is to build a burning platform, assemble a TEAM and build a compelling vision for the future
Step II: Feasibility Analysis and RO
The next step is to choose the “right” service to use this clinical model. This choice is being made both by surgical volume as well as profit margin and buy-in of the various stakeholders.
Step III: Case Studies
We have chosen to present to the registrants 3 examples presented by experts who implanted these models in their hospitals. Note that the experts include both anesthesiologists and surgeons.
Steps IV & V: Execution, Hard Wiring and Scaling Up
Finally, these sessions will teach you how to hardwire the new clinical model and how to move to other services.
