The OVBC 2025 planning committee is excited to invite you to submit abstracts that focus on maximizing value for your patients and your practice.

What Does Value Mean?
Value = Outcomes/Cost. Any intervention that improves surgical outcomes or reduces costs is within the scope of OVBC. We welcome submissions that cover clinical, operational, and financial aspects, including but not limited to:

Transition to outpatient surgery
Novel surgical techniques
Pharmaceuticals and medical devices
New practice models
Enhanced recovery strategies
Patient optimization
Value-based payment models

If accepted, authors will need to register to OVBC.
Medical students, residents, fellows and nurses will be awarded free registration.
